Personal Blog

My newest addition is a personal blog that I got running using a great program called Hugo, so that I can convert simple text files into a searchable blog. It's all hosted off my personal server, just like this website. I don't have too much on it yet, but I hope to share interesting discoveries, opinions, and more details about the projects I am working on.

My Favorite Anime

My friends Conor and Maddie started this podcast with me back in 2019 on the premise that Conor would explain to us all the anime that we love so much...but might not have the patience to watch all the way through. We have done so much from Naruto to Children of the Wales to Cowboy Bebop. If you like podcasts, anime, or just some friends goofing around then you should check out our podcast 'My Favorite Anime' on any popular streaming platform. Click the title or image to head to our website!

Puzzle Weekend

Puzzle weekend began as the best birthday present ever that my brother got for me, where he took my love of escape rooms and puzzles and turned it into an unforgetable day. This same group has continued to plan our own puzzle weekends every year. Below you can enjoy a video summarizing the momentous first puzzle weekend!

John and Ryan's Pillow Talk

My friend John and I started this podcast after we had one too many good conversations ranging from science things to romance. Things you'd typically discuss late at night with a friend while lying on your pillows. So we decided to record them and have some fun with it. I learned a lot through researching and we had a great time with guests and games. Our tagline is this: "What was before the big bang?", "are we alone in the universe?", "is his hair starting to thin out a bit?". These are just some of the questions keeping John up at night. But luckily for John, he knows a MD-PhD candidate named Ryan who has all the answers! And even when he doesn't, he sure as heck will act like he does! Join us for shenanigans, occasional scientific trivia, and most importantly, quality pillow talk.

Bbirchtats YouTube Channel

On this YouTube channel I had fun being a vlogger! I made videos ranging from hiking the PCT, to music, to Binging with Babish parodies. I grew up watching youtubers and always loved the fun, gags, and goofs, as well as the personal detail that they have in their videos. I tried to emulate that and realized it's a whole lot of work, but it's very rewarding.
